I'd met Martin, the Founder and CEO, whilst working on another job as a contractor. We started to talk and one thing led to another and before long we started to work together. With all my previous experience and after successfully completing a number of jobs, I was promoted to Senior Field Engineer. And when the law was passed for GDPR, the position of Data Protection Officer was advertised internally and I went for the post! I can say now what a very good choice it was. It reflects exactly the true Dworkin culture of opportunity that is given to each of us.
Dworkin - a big change to my life
Before Dworkin, I was contracting to a number of large companies. But coming to Dworkin was like a breath of fresh air. I was pleasantly surprised to see just how diverse the team is - multiple countries, age groups, cultures, backgrounds and experience. Everyone is united in a friendly atmosphere of open-mindedness and a willingness to share. It changed my outlook - I enjoy going to work, I love my job. I would never have said that in the past! We're not just colleagues, we're all friends. There's always someone on hand to help. I've had many late night conversations helping a colleague solve an issue.
